ORGANIC MANZANILLA OLIVES

All Cal Valls olives are organic and they are produced according to traditional techniques practiced for countless centuries in this prized area of Catalonia. This includes growing them side by side with almond trees that act as a natural pest repellant.

Once picked the olives are naturally cured with water and salt to produce a pleasantly meaty olive. Manzanillas are one of the most popular table olives in Spain and here in North America - think of the little olives stuffed with red pimento. These delicious olives are picked a little early to maintain a nice crunch after they have been cured.
