JOS PERON PALETS FROM BRITTANY B/O
Product Description
180 GR Tin Container
While the butter of Brittany doesn't get as much press as the butter from Normandy, the cows know, and certainly anyone who has had home-baked Breton cakes or cookies knows exactly how good the butter is.
Out near the far tip of Brittany that juts out into the Atlantic is the small town of Coray, the home of Jos Peron who makes these wonderful, buttery galettes, just like his father before him, since 1916 in fact. These small, simple palets, in this elegant looking tin, also known as Breton "sand cookies" are rich and full of flavor. Fabulous Breton butter is used with flour, sugar, eggs, and a pinch of salt to create a taste and crumbly texture that make a delicious…and addicting butter cookie. These are some of the tastiest palets we've ever tried, crumbly and rich without being overbearingly "fat" on the palate.
